Why we are the #1 houseboat rental company on Rainy Lake:

Price vs. Quality

Our prices may be higher, but the quality of our houseboats and customer service is the best Rainy Lake has to offer.  We have the only exclusive SkipperLiner fleet of houseboats in America. They are modern yacht-style houseboats designed for your comfort and vacation needs.

Propane vs. Marine Generator

We turn our lights on with a light switch, not with a match or lighter. Quiet 12 volt lights are available whenever you like.   Plus, when you come in from fishing, you can plug your trolling motors into an outlet to charge them up for the next time on the water.  110 volt electricity is supplied by a quiet marine generator located in the main engine compartment completely out of your way.

Pontoon vs. Semi-V Hull

Sit in the water…not on top of it.   The only wet carpet you’ll find on our houseboats is where you hang your towels to dry from swimming, not from water splashing from below.  And with room below to store your extra coolers and gear you have more space to sit and enjoy your vacation.

Lake Deliveries 7 days a week

When you need something up the lake – whether it be more bait, ice or groceries we will get it to you any day of the week.

Closest to the entrance of Voyageurs National Park

We are located 3/4 of a mile from the park's entrance. This allows you more time for your vacation, you will burn much less gas and it's an easy cruise into VNP from our docks. Five miles closer to the park is a big difference both going out and coming in!

20% off daily and weekly rates or 4 days for the price of 3 during midweek.

Our season begins on the Minnesota walleye fishing opener, Saturday May 14. May and early June provide spectacular shallow water fishing opportunities for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and black crappie. Massive populations of game fish move into the shallow bays after ice-out. Spring provides the best spin, bait, and fly casting opportunities of the year. Spring is great for wildlife viewing. The eagles and loons are all staying in close proximity to their nesting sites. Large amounts of waterfowl use Rainy Lake for nesting. Average high temperature is 68 degrees in May and 73 degrees in June.
